6ME (6 monthly examination) is a mandatory health assessment that all domestic workers in Singapore have to go through every 6 months. 6ME Medical Check up for foreign domestic workers / maids / helpers are available at all Advantage Medical Clinics.

Results are usually processed within 1-2 working days. Should you be close to the MOM submission deadline, express services are also available at an additional cost.

Our clinic will submit the report and lab results to MOM on your behalf, typically within 48 hours.
What to expect?
At each checkpoint, the domestic worker will undergo the following assessments:
- Height, Weight
- Physical Examination.
Any abnormalities in the above will be further assessed and acted upon if necessary e.g unexplained weight loss or signs of physical abuse or injury.
Additional Tests:
Depending on the form the employer has received from MOM, the domestic helper may also undergo additional blood-tests or X-rays:
- Blood Tests for HIV, Syphilis, Pregnancy
- X-ray (Chest) for tuberculosis
+ Fasting is NOT required.
+ Declaration that the domestic helper is not pregnant must be done before X-rays
