What is the Purpose of this Ultrasound?
An ultrasound liver scan can detect the presence of liver issues disease (such as fatty liver), liver lesions and other liver conditions . You may also be asked to undergo regular liver ultrasound scans as part of a routine screening, especially if you have a chronic hepatitis B infection, hepatitis C liver cirrhosis or liver cirrhosis from other sources .
Where can i do the Ultrasound Scan?
You may consult our doctors at any of our clinics for a referral to a radiology centre. Our Bukit Timah clinic at Guthrie House will also be adding ultrasound scans capabilities in mid November 2022. We will update this page soon.

Generally, it should not take more than 15 to 30 minutes
Preparing for your scan
You are required to fast for 4 hours before your scan. This means you may only drink plain water before your appointment.
