Lp(a)
Added in the VITAL Screen

Genetically inherited cardiovascular risk. Affects 1 in 5 people. ~90% determined by genes — invisible to any wearable. Does not respond to diet, exercise, or statins. Only needs to be measured once.

ApoB
Added in the VITAL Screen

Counts atherogenic (plaque-forming) particles. More predictive than LDL cholesterol. Your wearable tracks fitness — ApoB tracks whether your arteries are silently accumulating plaque despite that fitness.

HOMA-IR
Added in the VITAL Screen

Detects insulin resistance up to 15 years before your fasting glucose looks abnormal. Your wearable might show declining recovery scores. HOMA-IR can tell you why.

hsCRP
Added in the VITAL Screen

Chronic low-grade inflammation — a root driver of atherosclerosis. If your HRV has been suppressed for weeks and training adjustments haven’t helped, hsCRP can reveal the underlying inflammatory signal.

If you have 90 or more days of Oura Ring data and are booking a VITAL Screen, we will analyse your CSV trends alongside your clinical results at no additional cost. Your wearable data will be reviewed during your 60-minute physician consultation and included in your written report.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my WHOOP or Oura Ring replace a blood test?
No. Wearables track physiological outputs — HRV, sleep, resting heart rate, training load. These are genuinely useful signals. But they cannot measure blood markers like Lp(a), ApoB, HOMA-IR, or hsCRP, which are among the strongest predictors of long-term cardiovascular and metabolic health. Wearables and clinical screening are complementary — not competing.
Is my wearable VO2 max estimate accurate?
Wearable VO2 max estimates use heart rate-to-pace algorithms and are useful for personal trend tracking. However, they are not validated against the clinical treadmill protocols used in longevity research. Patients with a Garmin estimate of 52 ml/kg/min often test meaningfully lower on a clinical Bruce Protocol. For risk stratification, a clinical assessment is more appropriate.
Can I bring my wearable data to my consultation?
Yes — we welcome it. HRV trends, sleep data, resting heart rate patterns, and recovery scores from WHOOP, Oura, Garmin, or Apple Watch provide useful clinical context alongside your blood results. Your doctor can interpret wearable patterns in light of your medical markers.
What is the Oura Ring data analysis pilot?
Patients with 90 or more days of Oura Ring data who are booking a VITAL Screen can submit their CSV export for free analysis alongside their clinical results. Oura data will be reviewed during the 60-minute physician consultation and included in the written report. This is a pilot programme — places are limited. Oura Ring only at this stage.
What does the VITAL Screen cost?
The VITAL Longevity Screen Core is SGD 2,588. The Complete tier (adds Lucense multi-cancer early detection) is SGD 3,088. Both include Lp(a), ApoB, HOMA-IR, hsCRP, VO2 max via Bruce Protocol, DEXA, hormones, and a 60-minute physician consultation. Wearable data reviewed at no additional cost.
